STEERING GEAR BOOT (GAITER)

Steering Rack Gaiters are manufactured from high grade rubber and made to OE specification. A hole in gaiter letting in water and dirt in, or allowing lubricant to leak out, will cause rapid wear and will eventually ruin the rack. Both gaiters should be renewed, even if only one is damaged.

STABILISER BUSH, STEERING BUSHES AND STABILISER LINK

Stabilizer bars and links are part of a car’s suspension system. They are sometimes also called anti-sway bars or anti-roll bars. Their purpose in life is to try to keep the car’s body from “rolling” in a sharp turn. Steering rack with tie rods are responsible for car steering sensitivity and bushing is most replaceable part of this system.
